from Postwar Recovery to the Future -
In conjunction with the G7 Hiroshima Summit, the Pride of Hiroshima Exhibition will be held at Canopy Square, located in Hiroshima Gate Park, from May 18 until June 4, 2023. Twenty-six Hiroshima Prefecture companies will participate, highlighting postwar recovery, current and future efforts.
The concept guiding the exhibition is “to provide people from around the world the opportunity to experience the path to recovery traveled by the people of Hiroshima, the resplendent sight of Hiroshima today, and their dreams for the future.” The exhibition will display precious objects preserved by participating companies as well as panels showcasing the initiatives of companies founded and expanding their business in Hiroshima, along the path to recovery out of the devastation of the Great War 78 years ago and up to the present day, continuing to hope for achieving a lasting peace, fostering diverse values, and realizing a sustainable future.
